Is 60kg a large size?

In my mind, anything over 100kg is considered large.
The article states , "Sakaiminato saw its first catch on the 4th, and the total catch up to the 17th was about 600 tons."
If we assume that the large fish weighed only 60kg out of the 600 tons landed in 13 days, it's not a situation where we can say that "stocks are recovering" ^^;
Well, I guess it would probably be considered "large" by the general public.
By the way, 600 tons is the amount of catch that one longline tuna fishing vessel would make on three or four voyages.
Each voyage lasts about 10 to 12 months.
I wonder how many ships landed at Sakaiminato during this period...
