Stainless steel fishing hooks, sharpening the tips.

This is similar to the care I wrote about previously , but some people sharpen the needle tip themselves.

I think there are two types of sharpeners: 1) those who resharpen the knife after it has been damaged during use, and 2) those who sharpen it until they are satisfied with the sharpness.

In case ①, well, this is within the scope of maintenance, right?

In case ②, I imagine you are a very particular person.

However, sharpened needle tips are more susceptible to rust.

It also removes the non-conductive coating created by electrolytic polishing.

Scraping makes the surface rougher, which increases the surface area, which increases the area that comes into contact with seawater and other sources of rust.

If you use a fishing hook that has been resharpened, it goes without saying that it will require maintenance.

That means

Even if you resharpen the needle tip, it can last a long time if you take good care of it.

You could also say that.

As a company, we would be happier if you bought a new one.

In this way, damaged needle tips can be repaired and used carefully.

I can help you stick to it.

When I think about it that way, I personally enjoy sharpening the needle tip.
